Facing your Adversary

In 1st James 4:7-8, it says " Submit yourselves, then, to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you. Come near to God and he will come near to you. Wash your hands, you sinners, and purify your hearts, you double-minded."

Pastor Paul reminds us of that the enemy is real. He is like a roaring lion, hungry, fierce, strong, cruel and greedy. Pursuing souls like a lion. But Pastor reminds the church to be spiritually strong. It makes no difference how smart you are, how physically strong you are, or how big you are. It makes no difference. Inside you, if you're not strong enough, the enemy is always after you.

If the church is constantly alert in spiritual areas. You will know when the enemy is coming. When the Lion comes, the bible says to resist. Not in your own power, but by the power and the might of our God.
